You do not need permission to use material on this site, as long as the material is appropriately cited. (See next question for citation instructions). 

How do I cite material from this website?

Citation instructions are located on most individual documents. But if not listed, please cite as: 

Author (if indicated, otherwise NCCARF), year (if indicated): Title: Subtitle (if indicated). National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility, Gold Coast.

For example:
