The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Plan (NARP) for Terrestrial Biodiversity outlines research priorities that would inform planned adaptation by the individuals, institutions and sectors that govern and manage terrestrial systems, have responsibilities for conserving terrestrial biodiversity, and depend on terrestrial ecosystems for economic or social benefit. All the research questions and topics identified and discussed in this NARP are considered to be high priority, as judged by 5 criteria including: the degree of potential impact or benefit, the immediacy of a required intervention or response, whether the intervention currently used needs to be adjusted, the potential for generating benefit beyond climate change adaptation strategies, and the potential to address multiple, including cross-sectoral issues. Abroad strategy required for effective implementation of the NARP for Terrestrial Biodiversityis included.
